Teeth Whitening

Are your teeth dull and discolored? If so, teeth whitening can provide you with a renewed luster. Stains caused by coffee, cigarettes, medicine, and aging can all be removed by Dr. Davis.

One whitening procedure offered at Lake Creek Cosmetic Dentistry is Care Zoom! T. This procedure, which utilizes gel that is stimulated by a special light, is safe, quick, effective, and performed in-office.

You may also be fitted for whitening trays that are to be used in the comfort of your own home. This method of teeth bleaching allows you to lighten your teeth as your desire.
Porcelain Veneers

Dr. Davis can use porcelain veneers to conceal a number of imperfections of the teeth. By bonding a thin, custom-fitted sheet of porcelain directly to the front of your teeth, gaps, cracks, chips, discolorations, and much more can be hidden.

Cadent iTero T Digital Impression System

Cadent iTero is a digital impression system that uses 3D technology to replace the discomfort and mess of putty tray impressions. Now you can spend less time preparing for a procedure, and enjoy quicker action and faster results.

Typically used for crown and bridge areas, iTero uses a small, hand-held wand that gently touches the teeth and creates digital impressions. Because there are no substances placed within your mouth, Dr. Davis can stop and start this process whenever needed for those patients who may have sensitive gag reflexes.

Invisalign®

invisalign - straighter teet If you desire a set of better-aligned teeth, but dread the thought of bulky metal braces, consider Invisalign®. This revolutionary tooth straightening system uses clear aligners, custom-fitted for you, to gradually adjust your teeth into place.

Dr. Davis and his patients appreciate Invisalign not only because they are virtually undetectable while in their mouth; they can be removed when needed. Patients can take out their aligners when eating, drinking, or cleaning their teeth, as opposed to traditional braces.

It is, however, important that you wear Invisalign as often as possible to ensure that your teeth can be straightened in a timely manner. Typically, aligners are replaced every two weeks, depending on the movement of your teeth.

Sedation

Many patients get anxious at the thought of the dentist's chair. And often, fear of dental work can even cause patients to skip routine oral care. Dr. Davis wants you to know that he cares for each and every one of his patients, and thus provides relaxation methods at his practice, including sedation dentistry.

During your procedure, you can request to be sedated to a state that will help you relax. You will not be asleep; however, you won't be able to feel the treatment that is taking place. In addition to helping you be at ease during your procedure, sedation dentistry also allows Dr. Davis to easily and quickly complete your dental work so that you can enjoy a beautifully-enhanced smile.

We strive to provide our patients with a comfortable atmosphere. In addition to sedation, we also offers DVDs, satellite radio, and CDs to help you feel calm. Porcelain Veneers

Should you be considering correcting your smile, Dr. Davis offers several innovative techniques to help you reach your goals, such as porcelain veneers. Able to fix a number of imperfections within the teeth, porcelain veneers can be a beneficial solution to patients experiencing:

What should I expect during the porcelain veneers process?

If Dr. Davis should decide that porcelain veneers will work best to help you attain your ideal smile, he will begin the process by trimming small amounts (.2 to .3 millimeters) of enamel off each tooth that is to be treated, during what may be a one to two hour appointment.

Afterward, Dr. Davis will then take a digital impression of your teeth using his state-of-the-art Cadent iTero T digital impression system. Eliminating the need for traditional putty impressions, Dr. Davis will be able to attain an exact image of your teeth to ensure that the porcelain veneers will be custom fitted to your teeth.

If you wish, colored, temporary veneers may be placed on your teeth for the typical two week period in between appointments. The permanent porcelain veneers are constructed during this time.

During the second office visit, you will be fitted with your permanent porcelain veneers. Secured on the fronts of the teeth through the use of special bonding cement, the porcelain veneers can last up to 20 years. As thin as an eggshell, porcelain veneers are extremely strong, and rarely come off.

Typically placed under sedation and/or local anesthesia during both appointments, your experience will be as comfortable and pain-free as possible. An excellent option for those patients looking for a long-lasting result to their flawed teeth, porcelain veneers can offer patients a way to leave a lasting-impression on anyone they meet.
